by using drift, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, don't use the app.

the service

drift generates one daily real-world mission based on your city, weather, and preferences. missions are created by ai and are meant to encourage you to explore your surroundings. drift is not a navigation, fitness, or safety app.

your account

you need an account to use drift. you are responsible for your account and any activity under it. you can delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes all your data.

your safety

missions are suggestions, not instructions. you are responsible for your own safety at all times. do not attempt any mission that feels unsafe. do not trespass on private property. do not go anywhere you would not normally go alone. drift is not liable for any harm that occurs while completing a mission.

community stream

you may post photos and captions to the community stream. by posting, you confirm that:

• you own the content or have the right to share it
• the content does not contain anything illegal, harmful, or inappropriate
• you will not post photos of identifiable people without their consent

we moderate photos using automated safety detection. content that is flagged or reported may be removed. we reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

premium subscription

drift offers an optional yearly premium subscription. details:

• payment is charged to your apple id account at confirmation of purchase
• subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• you can manage and cancel subscriptions in your apple id account settings
• any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription

ai-generated content

missions are generated by ai models. while we apply safety rules and filters, we cannot guarantee that every mission will be appropriate for every person or situation. use your judgment.

availability

we aim to keep drift running, but we don't guarantee uptime. the service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. if ai generation fails, the app provides a fallback mission.

limitation of liability

drift is provided as-is. to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. this includes but is not limited to injuries, property damage, or data loss.

changes

we may update these terms. continued use of drift after changes means you accept the new terms.
